We’ve all heard on some level about surrender and let go… sometimes easier said than done. Why does this seem important on so many fronts? What are the indicators that you are actually doing this?
As humans, we have the innate desire to control, and to believe that we know best. This is a way for us to feel safe, even if our intentions don’t work out… we make decisions (a choice with no way out), keep an inflexible, filled, time frame (busy is the new buzz word), and we make lists that will always direct us to the next “doing” thing. This is a script for life and often those that live in this way are simply acting happy, successful, loved, and content. In reality, they are besieged by guilt, jealousy and stuck in doing things they don’t want to out of duty, obligation and morality that often comes from within themselves in order to feel valued.
Living a controlled life without time for curiosity, stopping to smell the roses, or letting things work out can actually shorten your lifespan. Walking with a child, young puppy, or old dog can shift your perception if you allow it and expose you to things you might have missed if left to our own devices.
When we make choices in our lives, we open to allowing extra influence into our lives and our thought process becomes a living entity of its own rather than a directed monopoly. A choice is always open to being reinterpreted after receipt of new information, and we are free to choose AGAIN.
When you notice that things you thought you might want begin to show up somewhat miraculously, and there is a calmness to your being and your living – you can rest assured that you are trusting the process more. When the results you were seeking seem small compared to the results you are living (feeling blessed) then you have opened the door to the positive influence that exists around all of us. When we notice these things happening, we feel grateful and begin to watch more closely what and who is showing up for us.
Once you are paying attention, you can use self-care tools to reframe and release the stored energy – unless you ignore it to the point of overwhelm. When overwhelm hits and depression, anger, grief, sadness, frustration or rage is present – it may be time to find a process that can assist the body by waking up its natural processing technique with REM sleep eye movement, blinking and breathing. Energy healing with Rapid Eye is an excellent tool to turn back on the body’s natural stress release and reframe process. We ALL have stress – it’s fast becoming the number one reason for illness and even death.
Remember you aren’t dealing with just the stored emotions in your present day life but stored, unresolved emotions from past generations as well.
