Genuine Apology

We all welcome a genuine apology.  It can mend fences and bring relationships back into harmony.  What constitutes a genuine apology?  It comes from the heart, it takes responsibility for actions, accountability for effects, it doesn’t justify or defend, and afterward we feel neutral about the event that occurred to warrant the apology in the first place.  An apology that includes forgiveness doesn’t say, “Your actions or what you did to me was ok” – it says “I am no longer willing to be a vessel for anger or resentment in response to your actions.” As a vessel for these emotions, most realize this is the beginning of illness and stress in our own lives. Cultivating Peace of Mind

As fall arrives there is a natural time of going within – which can be wonderful or sheer agony, depending on what’s up for you in the moment.   Feeling ungrounded, distracted by all around you, and fuzzy thinking are good indicators that you are triggered and in need of some stress release tools to be able to cultivate peace of mind in your everyday life.

Staying Focused

Knowing that if we are focused, we can accomplish anything – how do we stay on track with all the distractions (dis track shuns) readily available?  First and foremost is realizing when we’re off-track.  Some indicators are that perceptions are mostly negative, language is in the  shoulda, woulda, coulda realm, and anxiety or depression is present.  These are key flags that will get our attention (which is a good thing) and facilitate the change to being more present and focused in day to day living.  Read the rest of this entry »

Feeling Unworthy?

Have you bought into the pattern that runs telling you “that you are unworthy”?  Other people are more connected that you are?   Life is easy for them and it all seems unfair?  It is simply not true.   How do I know that?  Because we are all equally connected in life – some just aren’t able to pay as much attention day to day living and seem to have more distractions in their life.   If you have lots of distractions, it is a good indicator that you have subconscious patterns running that are sabotaging your life.  Read the rest of this entry »

Are Connections Independent?

We like to view ourselves as independent creatures…independent from each other, our environment, our means of earning a living, our driving techniques, and our verbiage.   Yet, I have come to realize that is impossible.   Our evolution as humans has enhanced our ability to connect first as a tribe, then a family, then a community, a State, a Nation and now it is global.    This seemed to happen overnight, yet the progression has been gradual.  Read the rest of this entry »
