Stop Hurting Yourself
Self-sabotage in all of its myriad of forms is one of the more devastating human conditions. When we get out of balance in our lives with too much or too little of something, we strive for equilibrium and will do just about anything to create that adrenaline rush to make us feel alive.
Daily Conscious Living
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could do one meditation, say one affirmation, read one book, do one pull up or take one pill and it would all be better and life would be what we want? Actually, NO. We would miss out on the ritual of discipline.
Communication — WHAT?
Sometimes it is a challenge just knowing where to start…and communication can get stalled in the quickest ways. Petting a dog is communication. If we reach for a dog and quickly pull back, we startle ourselves and the dog. Then we have to begin again by calming ourselves and the dog.
Transform Resistance to Resilience
All negative emotions are a signal of resistance to “What is” in the world. Sadness is resistance to Joy. Anger is resistance to Love. Depression is resistance to connection. What would it take to transform this resistance to resilience and involvement in life?
Staying Focused
Knowing that if we are focused, we can accomplish anything – how do we stay on track with all the distractions (dis track shuns) readily available? First and foremost is realizing when we’re off-track.
